I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in New Earth Histories at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, where I specialize in the history of modern science. As of November 2018, I am also an associate member of gloknos, the Center for Global Knowledge Studies at the University of Cambridge.
Before coming to Australia, I completed a Ph.D. in the history of science at Princeton University (2018) and a B.A. in history from the University of Pennsylvania (2012). I also studied at Seoul National University’s 2011 International Summer Institute on a fellowship from Penn’s Korean Studies Program. I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and Basel, Switzerland. I’ve previously worked as an assistant reference librarian and a middle school Latin tutor, and am also a classically trained choral musician (here and here).
